I’ve made it to one of the final rounds of the People’s Artist Contest, but I recently slipped from 2nd place to 5th place in my division. To continue to the next round, I need to climb back to the top!

As I sang “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” during this walkthrough, it felt like the perfect reflection of the show’s message: to encourage others to chase their dreams, no matter where they come from or how impossible those dreams may seem.

A quick clarification because the contest format can be a little confusing: that ranking is 🚨within my division/group only🚨. There are multiple groups, so we won’t really know who is closest to the overall top until the final rounds. For now, I’m focused on continuing to hustle my way toward ✨1st in my division✨, sharing my story, and showing up fully as the artist I’ve worked so hard to become. 🎨✨

And yes — ✨keep voting!! ✨❤️ Every free vote, share, encouraging message, and ounce of support means more than I can say.

One thing I appreciate about this competition is that there is always one free vote every 24 hours, so supporting doesn’t have to cost anything.

For those who have asked about donations: votes can also be supported through contributions that go through a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (AIT) connected to supporting artists and arts-related initiatives/resources. According to the contest rules, 36.5% goes toward competition fees, 1% is retained by the nonprofit**, and additional costs include payment processing, operating, and prize expenses, with the remaining funds supporting the charitable mission. Donations are also tax-deductible for U.S. federal income tax purposes.

As someone whose life has been deeply shaped by arts education, mentorship, and creative opportunities, supporting artists and arts access genuinely means something to me — whether I win or not. 💛
